Most shoes squeeze your toes, tip you forward on a raised heel, and wrap your feet in plastic, cut off from the ground beneath you. The Mecca undoes all of that. It gives your toes room to spread, keeps you level from heel to toe, and keeps you connected to the earth with every step. It looks like a classic leather lace-up, so no one has to know it's a barefoot shoe. You'll just feel the difference.
